Anti Aging FoodsFollow An Anti Aging Diet And Look Ten Years Younger!
Anti Aging Foods. I think that a lot of people still don't understand that what they eat has an effect on their looks. I'm not just talking about weight but also skin tone and texture. Food even has an impact on our sleeping pattern and our mood swings. In fact, food has a lot to do with just about everything about us and our life. When you think about it, food is our fuel which makes us tick. If you put diesel in a car that runs on petrol, then that car won't start and will probably break the engine. So why put unhealthy food into our bodies and then wonder why we feel sluggish and lethargic? The Anti Aging DietThe good news is that simply by being here and reading this page, you realise that you need to eat certain foods to look and feel younger but you just aren't sure which anti aging foods to eat - well until now! You could still be a size 0 and look older than your mother! Yes you want to be slim but firm and juicy. You want your cells to grow younger which will help make your appearance look younger and healthier. So, what anti aging foods do we eat then? Raw foods. Yes I know this isn't probably what you wanted to hear, but if you follow with me on this you will find the reason why you need to incorporate raw foods heavily into your daily diet. The Demon of Cooked Food!Basically when you eat cooked food (hot food or ice-cream) it destroys the enzymes in your stomach. Cooking destroys all vitamins, minerals and enzymes within that food. You then become deficient in nutrients simply because you don't have the capacity to extract those lovely nutrients from your digestive tract. Now, bear with me on this - all cooked food (whether it be hot, cold or neutral) produces digestive leucocytosis. This basically means that it increases the white blood cells inside you. Funnily enough it happens every single time you eat cooked food but never raw food! Our bodies react to cooked food as if it were a toxin or an infection. What this all means to us from an aging point of view is that because we are destroying our cells from within our bodies, it will obviously have an affect on how we look from the outside.
You need less food to nourish your body, if it's the right food. This means that your body will start functioning just like a younger one! Going RawI do certainly understand that most of you who are reading this will not be able to get your head around an all raw food diet. The good news is that even if you incorporate half of your daily food being raw you can still experience amazing results! Suggested example of anti aging foods to eat:
Leafy greens, peppers, carrots, broccoli, spinach, red cabbage, spring
greens, radishes, pumpkin, squash, red pepper, avocado, blueberries,
cranberries, strawberries, raspberries, oranges, grapefruit, red and yellow
onions, tomatoes...
...the list could go on and on but I think you get the idea. Tip: Fall in love with the beautiful colours and shades of greens, oranges, reds, purples etc.. Use an array of fruits and vegetables to get the best out of each and every one of them. Your skin and body will tell you that you are doing the right thing! Tip! Always try to eat a little raw food just before you embark on a cooked meal. This is because the raw food (fruits and vegetables) are very powerful when they help stem free radical damage in our cells. Many of the raw foods contain antioxidants which fight and destroy those free radicals, so you'll want to eat more of those (red and purple foods!)
If we have healthy, vibrant, juicy red cells, then this is optimal health and a great aging deterrent. Some examples:
These are just a few of the many many heath and anti aging diet benefits of eating raw food. A Helping HandNow you might be scratching your head and thinking how you are going to eat raw anti aging foods. So I thought I would give you a little helping hand. #1 Smoothies This is how I first started to incorporate raw food in my daily diet.
We already had some whey powder in the house as my husband makes a banana and
whey smoothie when he comes back from the gym. So I went out and bought some frozen raspberries and strawberries to keep in the freezer and put half cup of berries in the blender with two scoops of whey powder and some filtered water (or you can use skimmed milk) and what a lovely filling drink it is. You can start experimenting with any fruit or any vegetable (spinach, broccoli etc.) and use whey powder, low fat plain yoghurt or coconut milk. than the smoothies and you'll be surprised at how many amazing meals you can
make from raw foods. This is the book I got to help me on my way with making delicious raw food meals for my new anti aging diet I had embarked on. The author, Alison Andrews, has been a raw food addict since 2005 and all her recipes are tried and tested by her and her partner. This book also contains some smoothie recipes too! Click here to get the 'Simple Raw Food Recipes' ebook. So now you know that anti aging foods are natural raw foods that need to take up at least half of your daily diet. It isn't as awful as it sounds (honest) especially if you make delicious smoothies and a good variety of easy raw food meals.
